This was a tough one to pick today because Pop shot so many great images on this date throughout his career but I know we have a lot of classic automobile fans out there so this photo got the nod. In a show of mighty power, this DeVaux Motors car is demonstrating some the earliest "Off-Roading" prowess ever recorded as it attacks Morgan Hill. Until the late teens, mounds such as these had to be navigated IN REVERSE! And, yes, DeVaux Motors is connected to the DeVaux home which later became the Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club.
